The ultimate mission of the Badger Challenge is to increase cancer cure rates through cutting edge cancer research and clinical trials. This requires tremendous passion and commitment from us and from you which is why we highly encourage every participant 18 and older to join the $1K Challenge. Can you inspire family, friends and colleagues to help you raise $1000 for cancer patients? This may require 10 people giving $100 or 20 people giving $50. These dollars go directly to the Badger Challenge mission and rapidly fund the brightest minds and innovations at the University of Wisconsin. For participants who meet this challenge, your registration fee will automatically be refunded and you will receive a Badger Challenge $1K Challenge branded Yeti tumbler. Whether you are a 5K walker or 100 mile biker, we challenge you to make your mark in the fight against cancer. Please join us for the $1K Challenge*.

*This challenge is suggested and is not mandatory.

All participants who achieve the $1K Challenge by September 1st will be mailed their incentive item the following week. If a participant accomplishes their $1K Challenge after September 1st, their incentive item will be mailed after the November 1st fundraising deadline. Registration fees will automatically be refunded when the $1K Challenge is met.
